We see the beauty of God and His creation in many ways – one way is through His people.
Take for example the life story of Joni Eareckson Tada (ISBN 978 1 527 110 533), one of The Hall of Faith series – a set of biographies that have been packaged for older teens and adults. With a sophisticated look, Joni’s story is short and easy to read, making this an ideal choice for the young adult in your life.
Joni now also features in the Do Great Things for God series. Written by Kristyn Getty and endorsed by Anne Graham Lotz it has bright illustrations throughout. A map, prayer points, questions, and a timeline make this great to read with a young child or as part of a kid’s club (ISBN 978 -1 802 540 673).
In addition, I would recommend purchasing Joni’s title for young children: The Awesome Super Fantastic Forever Party: A True Story about Heaven, Jesus, and the Best Invitation of All. This book is aimed at children aged 3–6. The title says what it is about (ISBN 978 1 784 987 534). There is also a colouring and activity book to accompany it (ISBN 978 1 784 987 633).
God Made Me Unique by Chonda Ralston, and endorsed by Joni and Friends, teaches children that God creates every person in His image and each individual has tremendous value, regardless of his or her appearance or abilities (ISBN 978 1 948 130 707).
