I know that books, particularly children’s books, can be expensive. So let’s look at a set of activity books with a variety of price points.
These are great for a rainy afternoon, or a quiet Sunday.
At the cheaper end of the scale there are some little dot-to-dot books, priced at £1.50, from Christian Focus Publications: The Long Journey; The Ruined City; and The Wonderful Boat. I like the 10Publishing series of little activity books by Martin Young. Take a look at this one, Exodus Activities, priced at £2.99 (ISBN 978 1 906 173 906). Enjoy the re-telling of Exodus, packed with puzzles, spot-the-difference, look and find, colouring pages, word puzzles and lots more.
My Easter Activity book will keep your kids going for a few more afternoons but is still competitively priced at under £5 (ISBN 978 1 781 919 132). If you’ve done a devotional book with your children during Advent why not try doing this book in the run up to Easter. In this book there are puzzles and codes, activities and crafts to help you remember the real reason for Easter – the fact that God sent His Son to the world so that people could become God’s friends once more.
