A former OnlyFans “adult content” creator who reportedly made millions of dollars on the site has publicly declared her faith in Jesus.
Nala Ray grew up in church as a pastor’s daughter, and started her OnlyFans account “out of pure rebellion.” OnlyFans is an online subscription-based platform where creators can share content; it’s known for being popular with sex workers and the production of “adult” material for the site. Ray reportedly used the platform to share pornographic content with her paying subscribers.
Ray says she began by posting bikini photos, and then nude content, before moving to more sexually explicit subject matter. “I just [dived] right into the deep end of porn,” Ray stated in an interview. “Anything to go viral,” she added, “when you are making that kind of money, you wanna keep that kind of money, or just increase it.”
Ray says she climbed into the top 0.01% of creators. “I’m not saying that to brag, I’m saying that the devil can truly give you things in this life,” Ray added in an Instagram video of her testimony.
Ray describes the process of leaving OnlyFans to follow Jesus; it started when she met Jordan Giordano – known for creating Christian content on TikTok – and they struck up a friendship (he is now her husband). “He talked about God like He was the best thing in the world,” Ray told American activist Lila Rose.
“I had money, I had power, but at the end of the day I had nothing,” Ray said. At a point Ray described as “the rock bottom”, she prayed to God “openly” and realised that He was all she ever needed.
Since getting baptised, Ray has given numerous interviews to speak about becoming a Christian, racking up hundreds of thousands – over a million in some cases – of views on YouTube. “I got saved, and I radically gave my life to the Lord, and gave that life [as an OnlyFans model] up,” Ray said in one video clip.
