Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker shared his faith on TV by wearing a shirt during Liverpool’s Premier League title celebrations last month.
Alisson wore an undershirt, which he uncovered at full time, with the message “Jesus, The Way, The Truth, The Life, John 14:6.”
This is not the first time Alisson has shared his faith in front of the cameras. In 2019, after Liverpool’s Champions League final victory over Tottenham Hotspur, he wore a shirt with a cross and a heart on it, accompanied by a post on Twitter (now X) with the phrase “God is love!”.
Alisson, a Brazilian international, is a devout Pentecostal Christian. This season, his teammate Cody Gakpo uncovered a vest with the words “I belong to Jesus” after his goal against Tottenham Hotspur.
