The Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC) has appointed George Hawkins as its Director for the East Midlands. Hawkins was previously the Senior Pastor of Beeston Free Church in Nottingham.
“FIEC Local Directors offer support and advice to pastors and churches or catalyse partnerships at the local level,” said FIEC’s Communications and Media Officer Joel Murray. “This is a key way leaders of FIEC churches can be strengthened and work together to reach Britain for Christ.”
Hawkins commented: “I'm very thankful to have the opportunity to serve FIEC churches in the East Midlands. I'm really looking forward to hearing what the Lord is doing among our churches and to supporting pastors, leaders, and churches in whatever way I can.”
