Facing up to Financial Crisis By Keith Tondeur

Coping with Redundancy By Peter Curran

A Way Out of Despair By Helena Wilkinson

Coping with Long Term Illness By Frank Gamble

Crusade for World Revival. £4.95 each

Each booklet has 96 pages and comes from the stable that produces the popular daily readings Every Day with Jesus.

They are extremely well produced and based on a monthly Bible-reading structure. The authors write with a great deal of sensitivity and insight. Each section concludes with useful points for reflection. The Bible is to lead us to action and obedience. These booklets would find a welcome among those hurting and suffering.

No Christian ought to be under the misapprehension that they will have a job for life and no problems. It is good, therefore, to have material to help, comfort and counsel. Each of the authors has personal knowledge of their subject and this establishes their credibility. Better still is for this material to be preached in the pulpit to prepare us for this world and the next where we will all reign with Christ forever. No crisis, no redundancy, no illness and no despair there!
