Essays in celebration of C. S. Lewis
Eds: Andrew Walker and James Patrick
Eagle Publishers. 251 pages. £8.99

This year sees the centenary of the birth of the 20th-century's greatest Christian apologist, C.S. Lewis. Many books are being published in honour of this anniversary. Rumours of Heaven is a new edition of a collection of articles first published in 1988, but still very much worth reading.

Dipping into the volume, the reader will find fine pieces about the influences of Charles Williams and G.K. Chesterton on the great Oxford don, along with investigations of Lewis's fiction, Lewis as a prophet, and many other fascinating curios.
