This excellent book is just about the right length for a busy person to read.
I would not describe it as 'thin soup' (p.51) but an excellent appraisal of the pressures pastors face in today's world. I readily acknowledge that everyone (regardless of their vocation or employment) has much more pressure nowadays, but the author ably illustrates some of the unique challenges facing the pastor. I recommend that every church member should read this and pray more intelligently for their pastor. They are not only loved by their pastor but also prayed for continually.
