LIVING 4 GOD
By Kath Dredge
Day One. 72 pages
ISBN 1 903087 28 7

This book is written for young people, though which age range the publisher has in mind is not stated.

Most likely it would suit the junior school/early secondary school age. It is a potted biography of the lives of four famous Christians ˘ William Tyndale, John Newton, David Brainerd and Eric Liddell. The author intends that these short accounts should inspire young people to 'live 4 God'.

It's a commendable aim, and I hope this book achieves it. The four men chosen are inspirational.

This book is best suited for children from Christian homes. But the style is too much of another age and time to be of general value. It's a shame that a woman was not included as this would have broadened the appeal to girls.
