Where do we find imaginative booklets that can introduce our contemporaries to the gospel?

What I am looking for is something that bridges the yawning gap between what the church is saying and what the world is able to hear. Is this magazine-style booklet an answer? I guess the answer is yes and no.

MTL is a faithful restatement of the gospel that seeks to engage with the questions that unbelievers might be asking. The booklet is well produced and attractive. It makes use of some good illustrative stories, but most of the content is rather predictable. The style and quotes used have a 'been there, done that' feel to them. This booklet was first released in 2000 under another title; it is a pity that it was not updated. MTL is strong on our side of the bridge but does not seem to reach the other side so very often. I guess that with booklets like this there is a 'horses for courses' factor. If you use MTL make sure that you read it before you pass it on to the right person.
