What does it mean to be an authentic Christian? Aaron Gallagher, Scott Ingram and Tucker Wallace discuss the everyday struggles of a Christian, culturally relevant topics, and the Biblical principles that should guide their response.

How should Christians authentically respond to questions and topics of our day? That’s what this podcast looks to answer.

Of its three hosts, Aaron Gallagher is the Director of Programming for the Gospel Broadcast Network (GBN); a resource that offers free radio, live-stream videos, Bible correspondence courses, audio podcasts and daily devotional resources to all viewers. Scott Ingram is a producer at GBN, and Tucker Wallace is the editor of GBN.

On research, it seems the podcast was (as many seem to have been) started during the lockdown of Covid-19 in 2020.

Each podcast is around 50 minutes to an hour long. The podcasters are based in America, but it does not have a bias toward a North American context.

The episode that I chose to listen to was season 3, episode 3: What Does The Bible Say About Church Discipline?

The podcast tackles the ‘cancel culture’ and worldly attacks on churches that use Biblically-based church discipline methods for a situation like adultery or abuse. The three hosts navigate Scripture well and provide good arguments for why churches should not follow corporate or worldly ‘cancel culture’ structures.
