The Keswick Convention Podcast is a mix of testimony, theology and reflection exploring big topics and questions around the theme of the upcoming Keswick Convention.
This podcast is hosted by James Cary, Rachel Redeemed and Matt Holden. Cary is a comedy writer (Bluestone 42, Miranda, Milton Jones), author (Sacred Art of Joking) husband, father, Christian, Cof E General Synod member. Redeemed is a presenter of BBC Radio 4 longwave The Daily Service and BBC 2’s Pause For Thought. Holden is a children and youth ministry leader for Keswick Ministries.
I listened to the first episode of the podcast: ‘Could I Be Stored on a Memory Stick?’. They look at the topic of transhumanism (the theory that humanity can evolve beyond its current limitations, especially by means of science and technology) and how Jesus points to a better eternal life.
The tone of the podcast is informative and chatty, with a few special guests who are informed on the subject.
This is such an interesting topic as the world journeys more towards an online society. Thanks to the completed work on the cross, we have no need to worry about being uploaded onto a memory stick, but can look forward to being in the presence of our Lord and Saviour forever. Jordan Brown is learning on the job by help-ing to pastor a church in South Africa.
