Deeside’s
 new pastor

Matthew Francis (L) and Geoff Conway

Christ Church, Deeside, in North Wales, had been without a pastor for the last couple of years. During this time the work of preaching and shepherding the flock had been largely taken on by Stuart Olyott who came out of retirement to help.

July 6 saw the induction of a new pastor, Matthew Francis. Matthew is now one of five elders after Geoff Conway conducted the act of induction — see photo.

The church came into being in 1973 and Peter Milsom, the original pastor of the congregation and now Director of UFM Worldwide, also contributed to the service.
