Lewis in Lancashire

At the end of June, Peel Street Baptist Church, Accrington, held its annual exhibition, to which local schools were invited.

This year being the 50th anniversary of the death of C.S. Lewis, the exhibition was based on his writings. The Discovering Narnia Exhibition focused on The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, which proved very engaging, enabling the gospel to be clearly shared.

Through the week around 360 children visited the exhibition from three different local schools, 25-30 children attending each session. The visit included an illustrated talk, completion of worksheets and a craft activity. Feedback from the teachers was very positive.
