On July 25 Christian Youth Enterprises Sailing Centre (CYESC) hosted a visit from Her Royal Highness Princess Anne.
In her capacity as President of the Royal Yachting Association, the Princess was escorted onto CYESC’s accommodation vessel TS Resolute, where she was introduced to various groups of people, including staff, volunteers and young sailors.
New ship project
The Princess then took to the water with her protection officer, lady-in-waiting, centre manager and lead instructor Chris McLeish to watch the CYESC ‘OnBoard’ sailors practising their skills and racing. She was also given a detailed history of the recent £1.25 million new ship project.
