The skate park at Creation Fest

Creation Fest 2013, held at the Royal Cornwall Showground in Wadebridge on August 3-9, was the biggest and most successful in its 11-year history.

Daily attendance and onsite campers were both up on previous years, with the Tuesday evening, including local band The Grenaways and Irish group Rend Collective Experiment, drawing a crowd estimated to be around 5,000 onsite.

Another highlight was the Sunday morning church service in the Big Shed, which saw around 2,000 join together in worship. Creation Fest now has six venues with a packed programme throughout the seven-day event with something for all ages, including live music, Bible teaching, seminars, workshops, kids clubs, youth programmes, skating, outdoor activities, and much more.

The main venue, The Big Shed, doubled in size for 2013, and incorporated the main stage, Big Shed Café, an acoustic stage and resources exhibition. The all new Tube venue also proved a big hit with the young at heart —with its massive undercover skate park, pro skate demos, Tube Café and youth focused stage.

Next year it will held on August 2-8.
