It was seen as a wonderful blessing of the Lord to his people at Radcliffe Road Baptist Church, Bury, that the new full-time pastor was well-known among them, having been a member of the eldership for some years.
So in an in-house recognition service on Sunday morning, 11 October, Clive Bullock’s fellow-elders laid hands upon him, formally setting him apart for the full-time ministry of the fellowship.
Divine genius
Walter Johnson, an elder of Chorlton-cum-Hardy Evangelical Church, preached upon the subject of the local church, underlining the divine genius of members together as the Body of Christ.
Clive and his wife Judith have served the church faithfully for nearly two decades. During that time, Clive has worked as a Social Worker in Mental Health. His gifts in preaching and pastoring have been well-proven in church life and he and Judith are loved and highly respected among God’s people.
What a gracious gift from the Lord of the church to provide in such a loving way his chosen servant from within the membership – a delightful discovery.
