The new-look Association Day ‘Foundations 18’ took place on 7 July with the theme ‘Growing and Going’, held at a new venue, the Faith Mission Centre at Earl Stonham outside Stowmarket.
Lewis Allen of Huddersfield preached twice, supplemented by seminars from Graham Daniels, Ray Evans and Jim Sayers.
Time was spent re-examining how to grow in Christ, from 1 John 4, and then, from Luke 15.11, reflecting on the heart of the Father for the lost. The seminars were practical, biblical and heart-warming. Simon Robinson and Joyful Noise led the worship times.
Gospel unity in Suffolk
A dedicated team of workers served the Lord with distinction to ensure our comfort and safety. The fellowship around refreshments reminded those present of the value of the unity enjoyed by the Suffolk gospel churches. Children’s and youth meetings ran alongside the main programme.
Bill James is to speak at next year’s event, with the theme ‘Family Matters?’
