10th birthday celebration

Pastor Ade Omooba

Christian Concern celebrated their tenth birthday at the Emmanuel Centre in Westminster this October. Over 600 people attended, including church leaders, parliamentarians and international visitors.

The UK has long been defined by its advocacy of freedom. It seems that over recent decades this nation has turned its back on that foundation, as church leaders and governing officials shy away from their responsibility to uphold basic freedoms for all, and instead advocate a culture of secular liberal humanism and moral relativity.

Jesus in the public sphere

Christian Concern stands for the bold declaration of Jesus in the public spheres of society. This ministry has fought many battles concerning legislature and policy-making that affect the everyday lives of Christians across the UK. They have campaigned on important issues like parental freedoms and education that reflect biblical values; abortion – being a voice for the voiceless; raising awareness of the growing influence of radical Islam in the UK; calling out injustices served by a militia of political correctness that attempts to silence Christians in matters of marriage, sexuality and transgenderism; and a Christian’s freedom of expression of faith in the workplace.
