Experienced pastor and teacher Dr John Woods is joining en in a voluntary, part-time capacity, as its new Reviews Editor.

Woods has taught at the Latvian Biblical Centre, been pastor of Lancing Tabernacle, and is currently Training Director of the School of Preachers.
Other recent appointments include journalist Nicola Laver. She is a dual qualified solicitor (non-practising) and journalist, a former Solicitors editor of Journal, and a member of an independent Baptist church.

She joins journalist Iain Taylor, who has a long track record in public relations and writing from a conservative evangelical perspective.

Price rise
For the last six years, en has been able to hold its price at just £1.25 per issue and £18 for a 12-month UK subscription. Due to the impact of the pandemic, which has severely affected all print and digital media, it has now become wise to increase that cost slightly. This means that, from April, a single issue will now be £1.50 and a year’s UK digital and print subscription will be £22. This compares with £52 for just a single month of a print and digital subscription to The Times and £26 for a monthly ‘digital plus’ subscription to The Telegraph.

Best of all however, a month of en remains cheaper than just one cappuccino – even the smallest size! – according to industry figures covering all the main well-known outlets.
