‘Young people are suffering not so much from worse experiences than their forebears as from a greater mismatch between their expectations and their experiences.’
This observation sums up the particular pressures that young people in the Western world are facing today. Acknowledging and seeking to address this led to the conference Seeking a Godly Generation, held recently in Newcastle and London. All those involved were united in their deep concern to see the next generation of young Christians equipped to stand for Christ in our world.
Speakers included Paul Yeulett (Grove Chapel); Sharon James and John Denning (Christian Institute); Matthew Seymour (Emmanuel, Leamington Spa) and Ian Fry (London Seminary). Recordings of all the sessions are available on the Grove Chapel YouTube channel.
