FIEC new roles

Graham Beynon has been announced as the FIEC’s new Head of Local Ministries.

He will take up his role with the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches in September.

Beynon said: ‘I’ve benefitted from being part of FIEC for many years, and so it’s a privilege to be able to contribute more directly. I hope to help churches both reactively in responding to problems but also proactively in support and training.”

Separately, the FIEC has added Gareth Lewis and Paul Mallard to its staff team as Director for South Wales and Director for the West Midlands respectively.

Having previously served as members of the FIEC Trust Board, and with years of experience in pastoral ministry, they will look to help FIEC churches in these areas, supporting their day-to-day ministry and galvanising partnership working.

In addition, Mallard will also chair a Theology Team, helping churches to think through the key theological challenges facing believers in 21st Century Britain.
