FIEC conference for those considering ministry

'Journeys' 2026.

Men and women from across the UK, some with their spouses, gathered in Northamptonshire for a weekend to consider God’s call on their lives: whether into full-time ministry, into marriage to someone in ministry, or to decide that ministry is not for them.

They were at the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches’ “Journeys” conference. FIEC National Director John Stevens taught from Philippians on Jesus’ example of humble service.

There were interviews with experienced church leaders to hear about their journeys into ministry, and what advice they would have for others.

Adrian Reynolds

FIEC Associate National Director Adrian Reynolds said: “All of us long for the Lord of the harvest to send more workers into the field, and we know from past experience that this event has been critical in helping individuals and couples make this major decision.”
