Crosslands Seminary’s “Theology for Life” conference has taken place in Newcastle. The conference included a graduation celebration evening.
Richard Perkins, pastor at King’s Church, Guildford, said: “It was striking that most of the graduates didn’t simply turn up for the graduation ceremony; most were there for the whole conference.
“Lots were taking the Hebrews track because their Seminary training taught them, amongst other things, that leaders need to be lifelong learners, and they evidently are.”
Perkins also said that he was encouraged by the numbers in the room and the crowd's "cultural composition" and age. "The pipeline of future gospel ministers may be flowing less readily than it has been, but it's not dried up," he added. "Crosslands has done a good job of creating routes into training for ministry that simply work for so many different people."
