A document reported on in November and issued by the European office of the World Health Organization (WHO) advocates teaching children aged 1-4 about masturbation and children aged 4-6 about same-sex relationships.
Other concerning choices of topics to teach include fertility choices by the age of 9; sex in the media by the age of 9 and unrequited love by age 6.
It purports to be about reducing the incident of abuse as well as sexually educating children. There is an online petition available to sign asking the Director of the WHO, Dr Margaret Chan, to withdraw the document.
This appeared in the month where there was a call for the age of consent to be lowered to 15. The government said had no plans to look at this and intended on keeping the age at 16.
