Two grave abortion cases

In South Korea, an obstetrician was sentenced to three years and six months in prison for killing a baby who ‘burst out crying’ during abortion procedures.

The Seoul Central District Court convicted Dr Yun of killing a 34-week-old baby and suspended Yun’s medical licence for three years. Medical staff consistently said they heard the baby crying before it was killed by being put in a bucket of water. The mother of the baby was just 16 years old.

In 2019, the Constitutional Court ruled that the law banning abortion was unconstitutional and demanded the National Assembly revise it by the end of 2020.

Meanwhile, in America a federal judge issued an order demanding that a group of pro-life activists who were behind a series of undercover videos taken at Planned Parenthood facilities and abortion conferences are liable for more than $1.2 million in damages.

The activists were found guilty of violating several laws when investigators went undercover at Planned Parenthood facilities and events. The activists intend to appeal the order, arguing that they did nothing wrong. Troy Newman of Operation Rescue said: ‘It is no longer in dispute that Planned Parenthood sold aborted baby parts for profit and that our video evidence was authentic. They admitted it during our trial. Now Planned Parenthood wants us pay a price so the world could find out the sordid truth of their illegal babies-for-cash scheme.’
