Christian TV series The Chosen – supported by the Come and See Foundation – has broken the Guinness World Record for the most translated season of a streamed show, with over 80 translations of its first season now available worldwide.

The Come and See Foundation is a non-profit organisation that exists to ensure that all seven seasons of The Chosen are produced, translated into 600 languages, made globally accessible and free to all. “Fewer than five per cent of global Chosen viewers pay to watch the show, and that’s because of the people around the world who donate to keep the show free and easy to watch and translated into as many languages as possible,” said the show’s Creator and Director Dallas Jenkins.

The Chosen has reportedly been watched by more than 280 million people, with nearly a third of its audience identifying as non-Christians.
