In the April edition of en, there were three examples showing that freedom of speech does not exist in the United Kingdom:
1. British Red Cross volunteer for 18 years Bryan Barkley was dismissed for holding up a sign saying ‘No Same Sex Marriage’ (p.3).
2. Sarah Mbuyi was dismissed from her job after sharing her belief in the biblical teaching that homosexuality is a sin (p.23).
3. Rosalind Dring, a magistrate for 17 years, was removed from the Family Bench after saying that she could not agree to placing a child with a gay couple (Letters, p.23).
Does anyone still think that we have a legal right to free speech in the UK?
