Dear Editor,
I think it would be a good idea for Christians to show their faith by using non-verbal communication. We could send Christmas cards with a Nativity scene on – instead of just a snowman – and we could give a Christian Advent Calendar to children.
At Christmastime our family puts an illuminated Nativity set and a lit-up Christian cross in our front window, to remind passers-by of the real meaning of Christmas.
We could wear a Christian brooch or badge on our coat, so that those in authority can’t dismiss Christian views by saying ‘There aren’t many Christians left’ if every fourth person they pass in the street is wearing a Christian cross! These are gentle non-threatening ways to show our Christian faith.
