Dear Editor,
At one time I was getting rather a lot of religious begging emails from Africa, wanting me to deposit my money and get a share of locked-up funds.
I found, on copying and pasting Zechariah 4 verses 1-4 in response,the emails dried up.
To remind your readers, this section of Zechariah is about a large flying scroll that enters a house to lie and steal and will consume the timbers and house of the sender.
The analogy is soon understood.
I no longer receive these unwanted emails.
