Regarding the article “Lost Martyn Lloyd-Jones tapes recovered” in the September issue of en.
I enquired with his grandson, Jonathan (@mljTrust), five years ago if they had any tapes of his grandfather’s Welsh language preaching.
He replied: “Oh how I wish I did! We quite often get requests from Welsh speakers, and my mother and aunt of course both speak Welsh as my grandfather [MLJ] and grandmother made sure that they could!”
I have enquired since with a number of Welsh speakers, but no one seems to know of any and there are none in the National Library of Wales archives. [So far as we are aware this remains the case – Ed]
Anyone with (or who knows of) any Lloyd-Jones Welsh language tapes please contact the Trust.
