Do you ever weary of your church anniversary?
Do you secretly wish it would coincide with your holiday every year? It dawned on me about three years ago that we would be celebrating our church’s 50th anniversary in 2016 – and a bit of me felt like I had just been given a new chore! However, looking back, a week after the event, I can say that it had actually been a very positive experience – and I think we can make these events meaningful and effective in our church life, maybe even enjoy them!
