The Bible says that there is no one who naturally seeks after God (Romans 3.11). So when someone sincerely asks the question: 'How can I find God?' we know that the Holy Spirit has already begun to work in their lives.
But such people will need a clear presentation of the gospel to lead them to Christ. Gerard Chrispin's little booklet is excellent in this respect.
