WILLIAM CAREY
By Andrew Edwards and Fleur Thornton
Day One. 32-page workbook. £3
ISBN 1 846250 12 9

William Carey was unstoppable! This really comes across in this interesting workbook in a series that introduces children to some amazing people who have had the courage to put their faith into action.

It should please RE teachers as it fits very well into the curriculum and has a range of activities. The activity pages are photocopiable. Sunday School teachers and leaders of midweek clubs should be able to use it, perhaps for a series.

School Years 5-8 would be able to cope with the material but some of the text could be read aloud to younger children and form the basis of a very exciting story.
