This fresh telling of the progress of salvation is mouth-watering; the language is so alive that the reader is gripped by the story-line. In fact, even though I’ve been a follower of Jesus for over 50 years, I just couldn’t put this down. Every time there is an encounter between a human and God we are told that the ‘cosmic doorway’ is opened, the doorway in/out of our universe. The writer traces the history of Jewish people, called ‘Family Abraham’ in a most original and enjoyable way.
