This beautiful little booklet was first published in 2014 but with the 500th anniversary of the Reformation so close it is worth drawing attention to it.
Dr Garry Williams of the John Owen Centre at London Seminary takes readers briefly, skilfully and with erudition through the five Reformation ‘Solas’ – Scripture Alone, Christ Alone, Grace Alone, Faith Alone and Glory to God Alone – from the Bible but with well judged quotes and references from the historical background of the Reformation.

He then goes on to sketch in the continuing areas of controversy caused by the failure of the Roman Catholic Church right through to Vatican II and beyond to make the Bible its ultimate authority.
It is a very attractive glossy production, magnificently illustrated with portraits of the major Reformers and would make a good booklet for churches to give away to their members at this time.
