The lyrical simplicity is matched by a clear biblical richness which keeps drawing you back to meditate on God’s word as you invariably join in. Each song is very closely based on a different passage of Scripture, providing helpful paraphrases of familiar quotations.
‘Non-stop repeat’
Musically the tunes are both memorable and accessible enough for a congregation to immediately pick them up. I genuinely cannot remember the last time I listened to an album and thought that I could realistically use every single track in a church service without any hesitation.
Already our congregation has learned the title track ‘Your Word’ and the ode to grace ‘Don’t It Make You Wonder.’
The longevity and cross-generational appeal of this album was clearly evident as we played it in the car on non-stop repeat during a recent holiday with three generations of our family. As a parent, it is a huge joy and privilege to be able to see your children praising the Lord with the same enthusiasm as you have. We are hugely thankful for the way that this album has served us and highly recommend it to you.
