The national Christian organisation Pais GB brought teams and some of the young people they work with to Lancashire for a weekend of mission over the first May bank holiday weekend.

They organised multiple fun days and mission projects, using the opportunity to train their young people in evangelism and mission and to advance the Kingdom in the Northwest.

They worked with Life Church in Burnley, Parkside Methodist in Stoops, Emmanuel Pentecostal and St James in Accrington and St John’s in Colne. In addition to the Fun Day activities, Pais held various service projects including several compassion projects at the local women’s refuge and with refugee families in Burnley.

Because you’re loved

Significant costs and volunteer man-power go into making the ‘Because You’re Loved Tour’ happen each year. Young people who participate are trained to share the gospel, share their testimony and pray for others as Pais work with them to equip them for mission, helping them become missionaries, not just for the weekend, but for life and in their own schools and communities.

Over the years, Pais has seen hundreds of people say ‘Yes!’ to Jesus and has encountered thousands of people with God’s love during this incredible weekend.
