Tron Church minister William Philip has appeared on new TV channel GB News for a 20-minute interview.
Glasgow-based Philip (right) was asked a variety of questions by anchor Mark Dolan (left) in relation to the Scottish government’s handling of Covid, and in particular the situation in Scotland, where it was for a while – uniquely among UK nations – a criminal offence for congregations to hold in-person services.
Philip was among those who successfully challenged the ruling, which was struck down in March. He warned that had it been upheld it ‘would have set a very dangerous precedent’.
