Aber assembles again

Evangelicals from across Wales have been gathering in Aberystwyth.

They were meeting for this year’s Aber Conference organised by the Evangelical Movement of Wales (EMW).

With the theme ‘Be Refreshed By The Word’ the main speaker was Paul Mallard, with other speakers including Sammy Davies, Matt Francis, Meirion Thomas, Andy Christofides, Gary Brady, Matt Bownds and Paul Gamston.

Conference chair Jeremy Bailey said: ‘When we parted from one another at the end of Aber 2019 we confidently said: “See you next year!” Looking back, the inspired word in James 4:15 rings in our ears: “Instead, you ought to say, ‘If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that’.” The Lord willed two years away from Aber; but now, in His mercy, we are able to meet again.’
