Carl Knightly has been appointed as the new leader of the City Mission Movement (CMM) UK and Ireland.

CMM was founded in 1991 and exists to support the 18 City Missions across the UK and Ireland. City Missions work to serve their cities and take the gospel to the people of their cities across the country.

Carl, who recently became an en board member, will also remain in his role as Director of Networks at London City Mission (LCM), which sees him share their aims and work with church leaders, parliamentarians, and a variety of others.

He said: ‘It is almost 200 years since David Naismith founded the first City Mission, in Glasgow, and today with 18 City Missions serving their cities across the UK and Ireland, it is hugely exciting to see how God is working.
