Gospel makes waves by the sea: United Beach Missions

Beach missions are alive and well – at least if these photos are anything to go by!

The team at New Quay, Wales (not to be confused with Newquay, Cornwall) were among other teams sharing the gospel.

The founders of UBM first joined a beach team in 1950 in Rhyl and then went to Blackpool in 1951 and 1952 before being asked to start in Llandudno in 1953. Today UBM operates in about 35 locations in England, Wales, Ireland and in Europe also.
