‘My People! Those who guide you lead you astray and confuse the direction of your paths’ (Isa. 3:12, NASB).
I want to apologise, if I may, to all those who are same-sex attracted, yet who live faithfully by the Biblical teaching that sexual intimacy should be reserved for heterosexual marriage and nowhere else.
The recent statement of the House of Bishops of the Church of England is not only theologically inept and unfaithful to Biblical teaching, but it is a betrayal of your costly but God-blessed path of obedience to God’s word. Pay no attention to these compromising leaders. Keep on keeping on, you are a treasure to God’s people.
