This is a simple introduction to the life of Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones.
It is a book that is designed to be read to pre-readers, but could also be read independently by KS1 readers. It could be used to encourage gospel-centred conversations about why ‘souls need help just like … bodies’ and what is ‘the good news about the Lord Jesus Christ.’
It is well illustrated with extra details for children to spot. It is amusing to see people occupying the same pews in Westminster Chapel over the years! It would have been even more inclusive to see the international nature of the congregation reflected in the illustrations.
It is produced as a board book which, in my experience, is virtually indestructible.
I would recommend this book to children from two to six years of age and their parents and grandparents.
