Nations unite in prayer

Louise Yeghnazar, part of the international team leading the event.

A “global week of prayer” is scheduled for the 1st to 7th of September, with the aim of offering nonstop prayer for every nation on Earth over the seven days.

An international, interdenominational prayer movement, 24-7 Prayer started in 1999 and has been using 24-7 Prayer Rooms to encounter God and drive mission and outreach for 25 years.

A statement on the 24-7prayer.com website said: “24-7 Prayer began as one small prayer room on the south coast of England. Since then, there have been over 22,000 prayer rooms in 155 nations on earth.”

Among the international team leading the event is Louise Yeghnazar. The website says: “Louise facilitates the work of 24-7 amongst Iranian Christians around the world, particularly in the Iran region.

"Having witnessed first hand the legacy of faithful prayer upon the persecuted church in Iran for nearly three decades, Louise is passionate about encouraging Iranian Christians and the church world wide to stand with one another together in prayer as one global Church.

“Louise, her husband David and four teenage children live near Guildford, UK. They serve full time with Elam Ministries in the Iran region.”
